Middlesex (Imperial) Yeomanry Original Field Service Economy Cap Badge

Historically, the word "Imperial" was officially dropped from the regiment's title in 1908 when the Imperial Yeomanry was reorganized into the Territorial Force. From 1908 onwards (including the entirety of WW1 under King George V), the unit was officially designated simply as the Middlesex Yeomanry (Duke of Cambridge's Hussars).
